Physiotherapist
Ian graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2026, after completing his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University in 2024. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, his interest in physiotherapy grew from his involvement in hockey and golf, alongside his own experiences with training, exercise, and staying active.
Ian completed his final clinical placement with the Shift team in the spring of 2026, where he developed a keen interest in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. He was drawn to Shift’s comprehensive, individualized approach and the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support each patient’s recovery.
His clinical interests also include sports and orthopaedic injuries. Through clear communication, education, and active rehabilitation, Ian helps patients understand their injury and build confidence in their recovery. He works with each individual to develop a treatment plan that supports their goals and return to meaningful activities.
Beyond his work at the clinic, Ian provides physiotherapy services to the Guelph Storm alongside Scott Haller. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, running, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
